I remember listening to Rod Stewart’s song Hot Legs at a youth activity at our local reservoir when I was maybe 15. I thought I did not have legs like that and never would have legs like that.
At 15 I judged my legs. I felt ashamed of my feet too-at size 10 feet I thought there was something wrong with me.
Now that I’m a little more aware of my judgements-I remember being involved in athletics-volleyball, softball, and riding my bicycle to work (3 miles? Each direction) every day in the summer. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t anything wrong with my legs. One summer I got an in park homerun at a softball tournament. My legs can run.
Now that I’m older, I realize my legs are still hot legs. I helped my daughter move last week-up and down stairs maybe a hundred times -filling a 26 foot Uhaul and unloading the same Uhaul. My knees work really well.
Hot Legs apply to anyone with legs. I’m so thankful I have legs that work.
I know you all love Wednesday the same as I do because it’s the halfway point through the work week!
So the other day I was mistaken for a MLBB fan. True- I was wearing my Boston Red Sox tee- but it’s the cutest Tee and in a great color-RED and that was my reason for buying it 😂
I have been to Boston before and my visit was amazing. I fell in love with that great city. I even took a cool tour that passed Fenway Park- sweet right?? So it’s not like I’m not a fan of Boston- I just don’t think I’ve ever quite watched a Red Sox game on TV.
I’m an in person kind of fan- I would rather see a team play AT THE FIELD- IN THE STANDS! Know what I mean??
I do like baseball, basketball, and football and sometimes other sports; but if I’m wearing a Tee- it’s because the Tee is super cute or I’m headed to a game and I want to rock the team colors.
So here is my outfit from the other day when a Boston Red Sox rival noticed my tee and I had an awkward conversation not even mentioning why I really bought the shirt! 😳😂
