Thankful for a Broke Down TV

Hello friends!

I am just sitting down after a great dinner celebrating my daughter in law’s birthday.

We made a enchilada casserole and bought chips and salsa from our favorite restaurant.

(On the Home front our smart tv died and that is the biggest blessing this holiday!) πŸ˜†

We spent the whole evening talking and playing games (drinking a lot of Coke apparently πŸ˜‚) and watching the grandchildren play with each other and the slime we got from Costco(they get along so well and have since they were way littles) they say the funniest things and I love to be around my family.

Three members weren’t here tonight and we missed them but we all get a chance again on Thursday (Thanksgiving)! Now normally I don’t much like Thanksgiving because I’m tired of cooking for days and doing dishes for hours (I would rather chat and play with my family) so this year we ordered our dinner (pick up Thursday around 11am) and the TV is dead!

That means prime time play time with family! We have games and crafts (with some treats) planned for all day and I can’t be more excited! Time with my family- that’s what I’m grateful this holiday. (That and our dead TV!) SCORE!

Who’d thought it!!?
